My daughter really likes this pattern. The opening in the back is fun and a good way to have girly clothing without being frilly... just her style! The pieced back also is a great way to use up scraps. The gold on this shirt is a scrap of activewear fabric left over from a costume. She loves the shine!
All the fabrics (except the gold) used were either from Goodwill or were sheets from Target. Noticing a theme? I really like finding fabric at thrift stores, estate sales, or using sheets. It's a fun challenge!
I know I have been doing a TON of pattern testing this summer (and I'm not done yet!), but I hope you enjoy me sharing my makes, no matter why I chose to make them. I know I'm having a blast!
